Pet Injury Coverage
Whether you're a long haul trucker with a dog as a driving companion or a real estate agent driving your cat to the vet, Pet Injury coverage can provide protection for your pet in case they're injured in an accident.
Pet Injury coverage basics
Our Pet Injury coverage is included at no extra charge when you have Collision insurance on your policy and is available in most states. Pet Injury coverage can help pay for veterinary bills and medicine if your pet is injured in an accident while driving with you in your vehicle.
Limits, deductibles and other details
Since Pet Injury coverage is included as a part of Collision insurance, no deductibles apply. If your dog or cat is injured or worse because of an accident, you can receive up to $1,000 to pay for damages and veterinary bills.
Please note that Pet Injury coverage is not the same as pet insurance. Pet insurance generally covers veterinary bills when your pet is sick or injured. Pet insurance sometimes has a deductible and maximums.
Exceptions and restrictions
Pet Injury coverage is only available if you purchase Collision coverage for your vehicles. Coverage options may vary based on the state you live in. Call 1-888-806-9598 to learn more about Pet Injury coverage or to get a free quote for commercial auto insurance.
